LOWLANDS 2012

This year is the first time I'm going to attend dutch 3-day camping festival Lowlands with one of my best friends. I've always wanted to go, but never could find someone to join me. Today Lowlands released the first names for the official line-up on their facebookpage (First line is in dutch):

I have to say I'm kinda disappointed they haven't already released the entire official line-up yet. For the category MUSIC I'm hoping for: Gotye, Robyn, Agnes Obel, The Cool Kids, Theophilus London, Lykke Li, Florence + The Machine, MGMT, Linkin Park, KiD CuDi, Fort Minor, GCH, Frank Ocean, Asher Roth, 30STM, Adele, N*E*R*D, Baths, Solange Knowles, Childish Gambino, SBTRKT, The XX, Kelis, James Blake, The Weeknd, The Glitch Mob, Santigold, M.I.A., Ed SHeeran etc. I know, kinda ambitious list lol. WZRD

Today is the birthday of one of my favorite artists: Scott "KiD CuDi" Mescudi a.k.a. Mr. Rager. Cudi is known for his genius albums: Man on the Moon: The End of Day and Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Two years ago Cudi teamed up with longtime friend and collaborater producer Dot da Genius who produced on his demos and albums to form the alternative rock duo WZRD. Reportedly their debut album "WZRD" was to be released today, but sadly Cudi (@wizardcud on twitter) revealed on twitter they pushed back the date to the 28th of February. The album only contains rock music and no rap so it's a whole different side and that is one of the many things I love about Cudi. WZRD allready released the first single called "Brake" of their debut album a couple of months ago, here is the downloadlink: http://t.co/zhlfEuws
